Information fair, Second Cycle. Intermediary courses

Next Saturday 4th May is the beginning of the Intermediary courses.
The project, whose aim is to provide English and cultural orientation classes to Third Country Nationals living in Malta, has entered into its second cycle.
In practice, participants who attended the elementary courses will receive during the next coming 8 weeks resources prepared for them at a slightly superior level.
Most of the them attended the information session held this 27th, organised to register new participants. In fact, the project generated a huge interest in the communities, but it was impossible to accommodate everybody, in articular, it was capital to give priority in the first cycle to participants with an elementary level.
Classes will start on May 4th. They will be held at MCAST Paola campus in the Student's House.
It will be every Saturday from 1:30 pm to 4 pm.
During the Information fair, Tendy the English teacher gave an overview of the curriculum, while Regine, the media officer explained the importance of the visual production of the classes, the testimonies of participants. She said that participants who give interviews to share their learning experience can have a very positive impact in the communities and encourage more people to commit themselves to a fully integration process through language and culture.

The project will conclude with a conference where participants promoted for the contest "Student of the month" will receive an award. It will also be the occasion to gather stakeholders, as well as an opportunity to socialise.
